This reel compiles 3D animations and models I made using Maya with After Effects and Premiere to time sound effects and for compilation,  and Audacity and Audition to trim and edit sound effects.
It also includes some model turntables for my Zbrush work. The car rig is the only rig shown that's my own work; all other rigs as well as sound effects are attributed below.
Bumpy Ride, 2024
Bumpy Ride features Kevin, a rig from a now defunct site whose Internet Archive page is linked below. I modelled and rigged the car in Maya, and the render is compiled and dubbed in After Effects with sound effects cut in Audacity with additional editing in Audition.
Stop the Music! , 2024
Stop the Music! features Kevin again, but this time in drag! I've modelled and constrained a set of heels, a full necklace of pearls, and a nice hat for his head.
The short references Warner Bros's The Unmentionables, (1963), and features Bugs Bunny in drag, so I thought it'd be fun to have Kevin in drag as well. Everything but the rigs themselves was modelled by me in Maya.
Tools Intro, 2024
I made this intro out of an F-clamp, a pneumatic cylinder, a Swiss knife, a compass, a hinged ruler, and a shock absorber. It spells out my name, "Dina Li."
I modelled and dubbed everything in the scene in Maya and After Effects, respectively, and used Audacity to cut sound effects from different clips sourced in the link below, mostly from freesound.org.
That's not funny!, 2023
That's not funny! features audio and reference taken from Netflix's Cunk on Earth mockumentary series. This clip involves Philomena interviewing a hapless historian about Elvis Presley.
The rigs were provided to me by my professor, Gregory P. Martin, and I have been unable to source them. I did all the animation in Maya and used Audacity to trim the specific clip I needed, then compiled the rendered frames in After Effects.
Rotoscope, 2024
This animation is made using FBXs imported from Mixamo. Surface planes are parented to the rigs with the premade animations and the rigs themselves are parented to different vertices on the Lazy Susan using pole vectors and other constraints.
Punch and Ballet Animation, 2023
These animations are simple exercises made using the Ultimate Bony and Punchy rigs by Ugur Ulvi Yetiskin.
